If you are looking into a good investment opportunity because you are ready to start planning a sound financial future, consider property investment and not stock trading. There are many advantages of property investment over stocks, including rent payments, economic history, a tangible asset and the tax benefits.
Stocks are unpredictable and are an uncertain investment, especially if you want to take your life savings to try to make some money. Originally stocks were offered to the public when a business needed help with funding for a project or an idea. If the business did well the stocks would go up and everyone who believed in the company and helped financially by purchasing stocks would benefit. Today, the economy is in a financial crisis and it is getting worse. If a company closes the doors and files bankruptcy while your entire life savings remains in stock for the company, you lose everything. This is dangerous and could cause you to lose everything. This has happened to too many people who invested in the stock market rather than consider property investment.
Unless a particular stock pays monthly or annual dividends, you aren't going to make any money on a regular basis. The only way to make money on stock is if you are an active trader and sell every time your stock goes up just a little. This requires a lot of time and effort and there is never any guarantee you will make any money at all. Investment property guarantees monthly income when used as a rental for residential or commercial use. Monthly rent is a passive income and requires nothing from you as a landlord.
Investment property is the best way to use your life savings and secure your financial future. The history of property and housing has proven to increase over years and decades. You can purchase a home, rent it to a tenant and sell when you are ready to. A monthly income can be established with the rental payments. Years later when you are ready to retire, the home can be sold for possibly twice as much as you paid when you originally purchased it. The fact is that when you sell a property investment it very rarely loses money. You will almost always get the money you originally put into it when you sell the home and possibly more. Stock is almost never this way. Most people lose money when they purchase stock.
An investment property is also a tangible asset you can see. It is nice to know you can physically see your future and life savings than to know you have 100,000 shares of stock in a business. A property investment can also have insurance on it to ensure that if there is a fire, or a tornado wipes it away, your investment is safe. You cannot insure stock in case a business fails or goes into bankruptcy.
An investment property can make you money each month as you watch the market increase and the value rise each year. Stocks can be watched online and you can hope for the best. However, they are far too dangerous to gamble a life savings in hopes for a secure future. Rental properties are smart and provide monthly income and an eventual sale in the future. Don't invest all your money in stock; it could break you.
